Triangle Divorce Lawyers was founded with a clear focus: to provide experienced, organized, and responsive family law representation for clients in Raleigh and the surrounding Triangle area. The firm has grown to approximately 35 people — attorneys, paralegals, and support staff — who work together to serve clients navigating some of the most significant transitions of their lives.
The firm handles divorce, child custody, child support, property division, spousal support, and a full range of related family law matters. With 300+ combined years of experience across the team, clients benefit from deep institutional knowledge and a structured approach to case management.
Founder and senior attorney Mary Gurganus remains actively involved in the firm's direction and culture, ensuring that the values of clarity, strategy, and responsiveness are reflected in how every client is served.

Mary Gurganus founded Triangle Divorce Lawyers with the goal of building a family law firm that combines experienced legal representation with the organizational structure needed to serve clients well. She remains actively involved as a senior attorney and sets the tone for how the firm approaches client service.
Under her leadership, the firm has grown into one of the Triangle's larger dedicated family law practices, with a team organized to provide responsive, well-coordinated representation across Raleigh, Cary, Wake Forest, and Clayton.
