Alice Womack

Alice Womack is a North Carolina family law attorney and the Managing Attorney at Triangle Divorce Lawyers in Raleigh. With 12 years of family law experience, Alice focuses her practice on complex and high-conflict child custody matters, including parenting coordination and cases involving reunification therapy. She brings extensive courtroom and trial experience to families facing difficult custody disputes.

Alice’s connection to family law is both professional and personal. She was initially drawn to the field after watching people close to her navigate lengthy and difficult divorce and custody disputes. Later, while practicing law, Alice experienced her own divorce and custody matter and continues to share parenting responsibilities for her child. These experiences have reinforced her commitment to helping families develop arrangements that support their children’s needs, effective co-parenting, and long-term stability.

Alice earned her Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2014, graduating summa cum laude. During law school, she served as a Staff Editor for the North Carolina Central Law Review and published an article examining the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals’ First Amendment decision in U.S. v. Hamilton. She earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Before joining Triangle Divorce Lawyers in 2020, Alice managed her own private law practice for five years, representing family law clients throughout the Triangle and Eastern North Carolina. Before entering the legal profession, she worked in the hospitality industry and served as General Manager for several hotels in North Carolina and the Midwest. Her background in family law, business ownership, management, and client service contributes to her role as Managing Attorney at Triangle Divorce Lawyers.

Alice takes a strategic, goal-oriented approach to family law, considering both her clients’ immediate priorities and long-term interests. She pursues negotiated resolutions when they offer an effective path forward while remaining prepared to advocate in court when settlement cannot reasonably achieve a client’s objectives.

As a parenting coordinator, Alice also works with parents navigating ongoing conflict and communication challenges. She understands that co-parenting responsibilities may not always feel perfectly equal and encourages parents to focus on their children’s needs and building a workable parenting relationship rather than keeping score.

Alice places particular value on teamwork and collaboration. As Managing Attorney, she believes clients benefit when attorneys and legal professionals communicate openly, share perspectives, anticipate challenges, and work together toward a common goal. Based in Triangle Divorce Lawyers’ Raleigh office, Alice serves family law clients in Wake, Johnston, Onslow, Wayne, Granville, and Franklin Counties.

Outside of the office, Alice enjoys spending time with her daughter and longtime partner. She loves traveling to Walt Disney World, reading romance novels, and gathering with family and friends for card and board games.
